We are currently hiring a Registered Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team at the Village of Aspen Lake. In this role, you will ensure safe administration of medications, prioritize resident needs, and work collaboratively with medical teams. A strong background in long-term care is crucial, along with a commitment to understanding and promoting our residents’ wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medication and treatments with precision
• Follow care plans in accordance with regulations
• Manage communication with healthcare teams
• Facilitate transitions for residents to hospital care
• Advocate for residents' care participation
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR Heart Save Level certification required
• Knowledge of long-term care sector policies
• Experience or comfort with end-of-life care
• Strong communication and planning abilities
