Infusion Services Practical Nurse

Become a vital part of the infusion team as a Practical Nurse specializing in intravenous therapies. Provide personalized patient care while managing various infusion services in a progressive clinic environment.

In this role, you will independently administer IV iron therapy and ensure patient safety throughout treatments. You will also educate patients on their infusion experience, manage infusion-related reactions, and assist in daily clinic operations. Comprehensive EMR documentation and adherence to best practices are integral to this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies and monitor patients’ vital signs

• Prepare pre-medications for infusion reactions as needed

• Provide patient health education during visits

• Maintain clinic supplies and readiness for operations

• Complete documentation and ensure compliance with policies

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensed in Ontario

• Current CPR certification required

• Previous experience in infusion or oncology nursing preferred

• Strong assessment and IV skills necessary

• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities
