Long-Term Care Registered Practical Nurse

At the Village of Aspen Lake, we are looking for a passionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering quality care while managing various aspects of residents’ health and wellbeing. This position demands current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe administration of treatments and medication

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal care

• Document and report any changes in resident status

• Support families and advise on care decisions

• Engage with residents to uphold their dignity and choices

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• CPR certification at Heart Save Level

• Strong understanding of safety regulations in long-term care

• Comfort with Dementia care and palliative assessments

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
