As a key member of the Cogir team, you'll be responsible for delivering planned and patient-centered care while building trust with residents and families. Your expertise in clinical knowledge, especially in gerontology and working with unregulated care providers, will be invaluable in enhancing residents' well-being. Collaboration and effective communication will be vital as you implement and evaluate care plans and lead unregulated care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned, patient-oriented nursing care
• Build trusted relationships with residents and families
• Implement and evaluate care plans effectively
• Mentor and direct unregulated care providers
• Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Strong clinical knowledge and experience with seniors
• Education in gerontology or long-term care advantageous
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Vulnerable Sector Check within last six months
