Elevate patient care at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse. This Medical/Surgical Inpatient position requires the ability to manage various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital is seeking a dedicated part-time Registered Practical Nurse. Applicants must have current nursing registration and demonstrate proficiency in areas including IV initiation and complex surgical wound management. Commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centered care is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care for medical and surgical inpatients
• Administer IVs and assess patient needs
• Maintain documentation in Electronic Health Record
• Collaborate within a patient-family centered care team
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BLS-HCP certification required
• 2 years of Medical Surgical Nursing preferred
• Vaccination records for measles, mumps, rubella, and Covid-19
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
