Black & McDonald Onsite Safety Advisor

Be a key player in health and safety at Black & McDonald as an Onsite Safety Advisor. Ensure compliance and develop safety strategies in industrial and commercial locations.

As a critical asset to our team, you will evaluate and monitor health and safety hazards while implementing effective control measures. A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent along with 3-5 years of practical experience in the field is required. This position demands a strong familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety audits and environmental evaluations

• Assess worksites to identify compliance issues

• Write and manage incident and inspection reports

• Advise supervisors on appropriate safety procedures

• Collaborate in developing health and safety programs

Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience in HSE, especially in construction

• Relevant degree or diploma in health and safety

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HSE databases

• Knowledge of ESA, TSSA, and CSA standards

• Strong hazard recognition and risk assessment skills
