Elevate workplace safety at Center Line (Windsor), Limited as a Health and Safety Specialist. Leverage your skills in compliance, risk assessment, and hazard identification in this pivotal role.
As a Safety and Risk Assessment Specialist, you will manage and support comprehensive workplace health and safety programs. The role emphasizes compliance with health and safety legislation while ensuring effective communication with the Joint Health & Safety Committee. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and extensive knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA).
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop corporate-wide health and safety strategies and policies
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential workplace hazards
• Lead safety audits and inspections with KPIs
• Collaborate with the JHSC to address safety concerns
• Maintain accurate health and safety records
Requirements:
• Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR Certification required
• JHSC certification necessary
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on safety experience
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and CSA standards
