Quality management systems and audit coordination define this full-time day-shift opportunity at Omega Tool Corp. Analyze data and improve manufacturing processes.
The Operational Excellence Specialist supports the Operational Excellence Manager within Omega Tool Corp’s plastics tooling operations. You will maintain the Quality Management System, coordinate audits, and support corrective actions. The work addresses ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and cross-functional improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain QMS procedures, work instructions, forms, and records
- Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party audits
- Track corrective actions and verify effectiveness
- Analyze quality data and monitor performance indicators
- Standardize processes with cross-functional teams
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, or manufacturing
- Three to five years of relevant manufacturing quality experience
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with IATF 16949
- Microsoft Office proficiency; ERP or QMS experience is an asset
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills
