This senior archaeologist role is pivotal in directing archaeological assessments and managing diverse project teams. You will plan and oversee archaeological projects while ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines. Leading with a focus on mentorship and safety, you will also contribute to strategic business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee archaeological assessments as per MCM requirements
• Direct project scopes, budgets, and timelines
• Conduct senior technical reviews of assessment reports
• Mentor teams and foster a learning environment
• Coordinate logistics for field operations and staffing
Requirements:
• Professional license in good standing with MCM
• 10+ years of consulting archaeology experience
• Deep knowledge of Ontario’s archaeological practices
• Strong project management capabilities
• Ability to obtain security clearance as needed
Use your archaeological proficiency to enhance understanding of local cultural histories and engage thoughtfully with communities.
