This permanent role involves management of daily meat department functions and staff supervision. You'll implement processes for effective department management while ensuring products meet quality and freshness standards. Your leadership will create a welcoming environment for customers while adhering to health guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all operations in the meat department
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the area
• Supervise staff performance through feedback and coaching
• Create displays that enhance customer attraction
• Place orders and coordinate delivery of products
Requirements:
• Understanding of customer service principles
• Ability to create displays and stock products
• Experience in retail, especially meat departments is a plus
• Capable of lifting 30 to 50 pounds as needed
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
