This Assistant Front Store Manager supports the Front Store Manager with human, physical, and financial resources. The role improves product flow from backroom to sales floor while maintaining Store Standards. It also supports scheduling, staffing, hiring, engagement, and staff development across departments excluding Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Store Standards across sales floor and backroom operations
Support labour scheduling through Work Force Management
Ensure adequate staffing for effective business operations
Support hiring for departments excluding Pharmacy
Lead and motivate staff through Blue Culture and Core Values
Requirements:
Previous retail management experience
Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
Ability to prioritize changing initiatives quickly
Superior coaching and communication skills
Business and financial acumen
Apply retail management, workforce planning, and coaching skills while supporting Shoppers Drug Mart store standards and customer experience.
