Serve bakery customers as a Baker with Your Independent Grocer, using accurate scanning and attentive service to create memorable shopping experiences.
As a Baker, you will take orders, label products accurately, answer questions, and share bakery knowledge. You will support an improved in-store experience through friendly customer interactions. No previous experience is required, and training is provided to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service throughout the bakery department
- Take customer orders and accurately label products
- Accurately scan products during customer transactions
- Carry out company-directed promotions and programs
- Maintain displays, organization, and health and safety standards
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Attention to detail and reliable teamwork
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds during shifts
