Position Summary:
We have an opening for an Account Manager to cover existing managed accounts in Leamington, ON and providing territory coverage to build business within this area. This position would be based in our Leamington branch. Reporting to the District Sales Manager – West, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing accounts. The Account Manager will support our corporate strategy by expanding share of wallet in existing customers and acquiring new accounts by providing unique value to win new business.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(You Will):
Determines sales potential for new and existing customers through inquiry, observation and periodic researchPromotes WFS Ltd. products and services to customers through value-based conversationsMaintains a high level of relevant product knowledgeAssists customers with problems by comparing and introducing productsDetermines customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific productsIdentifies and reports actual and potential cost savings to customers on a proactive basisCommunicates regularly with branch staff in order to resolve customer issuesMaintains an excellent working relationship with customers and our internal teamAssists Inside Customer Service Representatives with the development and maintenance of customers contracts and quotesMaintains customer contracts and follows up on customer quotesMakes sales calls with vendor representatives and other resourcesDevelops a proactive sales plan and strategy to increase sales of new and existing customers and records and reports activity through monthly pipeline reviewsCalls on existing and new customers based on the sales planAims to increase share of wallet within existing accounts with attention to marginResponsible for profit margin and expenses relating to buy and sell agreementsFollows all safety protocol in compliance with WFS Health and Safety policies and procedures, local customer policies and procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety ActPresents a professional image at all times to customers and vendorsAll other duties as assignedREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (You Have):
Diversified knowledge of industrial products developed through relevant post-secondary education and/or a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive, applicable work experience in an industrial environmentPrevious customer service/inside sales experience is an asset and previous outside sales experience is desiredAbility to work independently and manage time and territory effectivelySuperior interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships and continually strive for improved customer serviceDemonstrated competency in VAI, Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of the selling processDemonstrated team-playing attitudePossession of a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle as travel is requiredRewards and Benefits:
