Electrical product knowledge drives this Inside Sales Representative role with Dixon Electric, based at a branch location or alternatively Timmins. Serve customers through phone, email, and in-person support.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will quote and order electrical parts correctly while troubleshooting product issues. You will coordinate deliveries with vendors, customers, and warehouse teams. Collaboration with Account Managers, the Projects Group, and the Technical Team supports premier customer service. The position also requires maintaining product knowledge and learning about new products.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist customers with accurate parts quotations and orders
- Follow up on quotes and troubleshoot product issues
- Coordinate prompt order deliveries with vendors and warehouse teams
- Collaborate with Account Managers and technical teams
- Maintain current product knowledge and learn new products
- Desire to learn and continue growing
- Post-secondary education in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics
- Relevant electrical industry experience may also qualify
- Knowledge of relays, timers, PLCs, and light curtains
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
