Position: Emergency Response Team Member Role
Become a vital part of fire prevention with Securitas Canada as an Emergency Response Team member. This position involves a rotational schedule covering both days and nights, focusing on safety and education.

As a member of the Emergency Response Team, you will be responsible for comprehensive fire prevention duties, including conducting routine inspections and delivering training on fire safety protocols. Collaborating closely with the Security Shift Supervisor, you will ensure all fire standards are met and maintained, with potential exposure to various hazards. This role requires quick thinking and effective problem-solving under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain personal protective equipment regularly

• Conduct checks on CO2 and sprinkler systems

• Enforce fire prevention standards and codes

• Conduct fire evacuation drills and training

• Report fire/safety hazards and confirm corrective actions

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or GED;
Pre-Service Firefighter Diploma preferred

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License within 3 months

• NFPA 1001 Fire Fighter Level I & II

• Demonstrated quick thinking in emergencies

• Clean G class driver’s abstract with 5 years driving experience
