Become a vital part of Windsor Fire & Rescue Services as a full-time Firefighter. Respond to emergencies and utilize lifesaving skills in diverse conditions while safeguarding community safety.

Windsor Fire & Rescue is seeking dedicated individuals for the Firefighter role. Candidates will engage in various emergencies, including fire and medical situations, while completing regular training. This position involves critical responsibilities such as driving fire apparatus, entering hazardous areas, and assisting with community fire education and public relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to fire, rescue, and medical emergencies

• Enter hazardous buildings to control situations

• Render first aid and perform CPR as needed

• Drive fire apparatus and equipment during emergencies

• Participate in ongoing training and public education efforts

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class 'D' Driver’s License with 'Z' endorsement

• Standard First Aid & Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Positive medical evaluation as per NFPA Standards

• Experience in firefighting or medical fields is an asset
