Auxiliary Patrol Member Police

Join the Windsor Police Service as an Auxiliary Patrol Member dedicated to enhancing community safety from May to October. This role involves patrolling municipal parks and supporting special events.

The Auxiliary Patrol Service is looking for committed individuals who can dedicate at least 35 hours monthly for parks patrol and 12 special events annually. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid Ontario Driver's Licence, and have completed secondary education. Your character references and first aid training will be essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol municipal parks effectively from May until October

• Assist in organizing and managing special events throughout the year

• Complete required Auxiliary Patrol recruit training

• Maintain physical and mental fitness for reporting duties

• Uphold Oaths of Office & Secrecy positively

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification

• Acceptable work record and references

• Successfully complete an oral interview and physical examination
