Position: Millwright (Hourly)
The Millwright (Hourly) will work on a three-shift rotation to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities will include: assembling, installing, testing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining factory automation equipment on conveyor systems (including power and free and power roller table and belt conveyors), hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls (including air logic), and machine tool installation (including rigging).
The Millwright (Hourly) will also diagnose malfunctioning systems and apparatuses as well as testing/inspecting hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes (legislative, safety); and ensuring that all work completed results in the highest quality of product leaving the workstation (piece of equipment/machine).

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalentCertificate of Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)Minimum EIGHT (8) years of related experience working in the tradeMechanical experience supporting manufacturing operations including knowledge and troubleshootingExperience in preventative maintenance including replacing broken or defective parts in equipment and/or machinesDemonstrated ability to interpret and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systemDemonstrated ability to operate on elevated work platformUnderstanding of conveyor systems both OHP&F, IP&F, gearboxes, and robot maintenanceThorough understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic blueprintsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to maintain tact and professionalism at all timesValid driver's licenseProficiency with computers, including the use of Microsoft OfficeAvailable to work all shiftsLegally authorized to work in Canada
