Focus on providing vital support as a Mental Health Social Worker for Youth Services in Ontario. This role is dedicated to helping youth through effective intake and service delivery.
As a Mental Health Social Worker I, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to complete intake processes for children and youth facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Key tasks include providing professional services through the Urgent Response Service, navigating the child and youth service system, and co-facilitating treatment groups. Your approach will emphasize strengths and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake screenings for children and youth clients
• Collaborate with parents and community services
• Develop and monitor tailored response service plans
• Support treatment group facilitation as necessary
• Deliver professional and confidential services
Requirements:

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Experience with children’s mental health preferred
• Strong interpersonal and reporting skills
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and transportation
• Bilingual candidates with French proficiency preferred
