This part-time role involves designing and delivering recreational programs based on residents’ interests and abilities. Collaboration with various interdisciplinary team members is critical for developing holistic and individualized programming. Creativity and adaptability will be key as you support residents through diverse activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and implement leisure programs for residents

• Facilitate individual and group activities

• Document participation and monitor resident outcomes

• Provide emotional support during one-on-one visits

• Assist in organizing special events and outings

Requirements:

• University or community college diploma in a relevant field

• Minimum two years of experience in therapeutic recreation

• Familiarity with long-term care regulations

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Capability to work flexible hours
