Position: AMANI Social Worker for Black Youth
Transform the lives of Black youth with weCHC as an AMANI Social Worker. This full-time position in Windsor focuses on counseling and holistic care within an innovative community health setting.

Windsor Essex Community Health Centre is looking for a dedicated Social Worker/Case Worker. This permanent role emphasizes engagement with youth aged 12 to 29 from Black communities. You will utilize culturally responsive methods to provide prevention, intervention, and recovery services to those facing mental health and addiction issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions

• Conduct outreach and initial assessments for clients

• Engage families in clients' treatment plans

• Support ongoing program development and evaluation

• Collaborate with community partners on health initiatives

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of relevant counseling experience

• Demonstrated understanding of Black youth experiences

• MSW or BSW with five years of relevant work

• Proficient in assessment and counseling techniques

• Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver's license
