Child & Youth Support Worker needed in Sandwich Town, Windsor to provide care and behavioural support for a youth with autism and complex special needs. Earn $23+ per hour, enjoy consistent weekday or weekend rotations (7 AM
-3 PM, 3 PM-11 PM, 11 PM-7 AM), must have NVCI (
nonviolent, crisis, intervention training
) or Safe Management Group training.

HealthOPM is hiring a Child & Youth Support Worker to provide behavioral, emotional, and daily living support to a male youth with autism and complex needs. This is a temporary placement through our staffing agency with stable hours and the chance to make a difference.

• Hourly rate: $23+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Flexible weekday or weekend scheduling
• Supportive agency team and compliance assistance
• Build valuable experience working with youth who have complex needs

• Support daily activities and provide behavioral guidance
• Apply NVCI or Safe Management Group training to manage safety
• De-escalate aggressive or violent behaviors
• Work collaboratively with the client and HealthOPM team

• Weekday (
  Mon Fri
  ) or weekend (
  Sat Sun
  ) availability
• Shifts:
  
  7 AM
  -3 PM, 3 PM
  -11 PM, 11 PM
  -7 AM

• Diploma or certification as a Child & Youth Support Worker (CYW/CYC)
• NVCI or Safe Management Group training required
• Prior experience supporting youth with autism and complex special needs
• Skilled in behavior management and crisis response
• Patient, reliable, and compassionate
