Join weCHC as a full-time Social Worker and empower Black youth through innovative mental health and substance use programs. This role is based in Windsor and focuses on culturally informed care.
Windsor Essex Community Health Centre is hiring a Social Worker for their AMANI Mental Health & Substance Use Program. You will engage with Black youth to provide culturally responsive services in a supportive environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to youth recovery and well-being through effective interventions and community collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer assessment and therapy services to clients
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Engage clients' families in treatment plans
• Complete required reports in a timely manner
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of counseling experience preferred
• Understanding of the unique challenges faced by Black youth
• MSW or BSW with relevant experience
• Proficiency in current therapeutic techniques
• Clean driver's abstract and reliable transportation
Utilize your expertise to foster equitable health solutions for youth facing systemic barriers in Windsor.
