• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
• Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing professional customer service
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
• Tarp cargo and ensure safety and security
• Transport and handle dangerous goods

• Air Brakes Endorsement
• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi‑trailer trucks)
• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2‑axle vehicles)
