We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as we are actively recruiting for a Driver responsible for the pick-up and delivery of products over established routes in Windsor and surrounding area, including Michigan, USA. This position reports to the Transportation and Logistics Supervisor .

What we’re looking for
Operate light trucks and cube vans to pick up and deliver various products over established routes (Route #1 between Center Line facilities, Route #2 throughout Windsor/Essex County, and Route #3 Michigan within an hour radius from Windsor)
Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all laws and safety rules
Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using appropriate aids (dollies, forklifts, etc.)
Perform timely inspections of loads during all phases of truck/travel operation
Verify all load related documentation for validity, accuracy and completeness
Log information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, and any problems encountered
Effective oral and written communication
Complete and file all necessary paperwork pertaining to daily travel logs
What you need to succeed
High School Diploma
Class 'G' License required
Clean Driver's abstract required
Ability to lift to 40lbs required
Ability to travel across the U.S. border required
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple shipping & receiving departments and co-workers to achieve pickups/deliveries and maintain a positive work atmosphere
Sound organizational and time management skills
Basic computer skills (emails)
Forklift license and operational experience an asset
Possessing a ‘Fast Card’, an asset

Wage Range: $20.00 to $26.00/hour based on prior driving experience. This position is to fill an existing vacancy.
