In this strategic role, reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will drive transportation functions for both domestic and export logistics. With over five years of experience in transportation management, you will oversee a large fleet and ensure meticulous inventory oversight while fostering collaboration between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategically manage logistics pipelines to reduce costs
• Coordinate transportation operations from plant to customers
• Supervise a fleet of covered hopper cars for maximum efficiency
• Analyze freight trends and negotiate optimal contracts
• Lead daily collaborative meetings for process alignment
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related area
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or transportation
• Ability to master technology and utilize Excel efficiently
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
