Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to handle various types of freight.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.

Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Assist with basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.

Familiarity with forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred.

Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.

Basic automotive repair skills are a plus, enabling the driver to perform minor repairs when necessary.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $2,000.00-$2,500.00 per week
