Ford Transportation Services Ltd. operates transportation for Ford Motor Company of Canada. This driver delivers parts and finished products between local plants, customer plants, and suppliers. The work includes frequent US-Canada border crossings, off-road switch tractor operation, and staggered or afternoon shifts, including some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver parts and finished materials across Windsor and southeastern Michigan
Cross the US-Canada border multiple times daily
Operate Class 8 trucks with 53-foot trailers
Move trailers between storage yards and production docks
Record accurate logbooks or Trip Sheets
Requirements:
Province of Ontario AZ license in good standing
Three recent, verifiable years of driving experience
Valid FAST Card and clean three-year CVOR abstract
Knowledge of Hours of Service and Customs procedures
Ability to operate 10-speed and 13-speed transmissions
Support Ford transportation operations through safe cross-border driving, accurate documentation, and dependable trailer movement between facilities.
