Warehouse Worker - Forklift Operator - TPT

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to join an excellent team in a safe and dynamic environment.

Location:

1 Quality Way, Windsor, ON

Pay:  $27.17 per hour (Temporary-Part Time, three-shift rotation)

Shift Availability:  Night

Shift: 11 pm – 7 am;
Day

Shift: 7 am – 3 pm;
Afternoon

Shift: 3 pm – 11 pm.

Major Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse mechanical equipment as applicable.

Load and unload trailers.

Open and close dock doors.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Move materials within the warehouse.

Comply with all safety requirements.

Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.

Update existing records and review data for errors or inconsistencies.

Communicate with internal departments for clarification.

Use basic math skills.

Complete quality control checks.

Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of warehouse experience with a sit‑down, counterbalance forklift.

Experience with material‑handling equipment (hand or power tools, hand truck) preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.

Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multitask, and organize effectively.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Flexible to work overtime preferred.

Ability to work in non‑climate controlled conditions required.

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and comply with Penske employment application and reference verification processes.

Physical Requirements

Must remember and understand instructions, guidelines, and other information.

Must see, observe, and have the vision abilities required for job tasks (close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjust focus).

Must hear, understand, and distinguish speech or other sounds needed for job duties.

Must frequently move, stand, walk, sit, and use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms.

Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
