Location: Windsor, CO (Hybrid eligible)
Salary: $85,000 – $115,000 depending on experience

We are a well-established and growing civil contractor with an office based in Windsor, Colorado, known for our high-quality civil projects and strong relationships throughout the region. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Civil Estimator to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to grow with a company that is in a strong growth pattern.

The Civil Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of civil construction projects, including earthwork, utilities, roadways, and site development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting the project team in winning work and ensuring profitability.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including takeoffs and pricing

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates

• Solicit and review subcontractor and supplier bids

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other estimators to ensure accuracy and competitiveness

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed

• Track historical cost data to improve accuracy of future estimates

• Support project handoff and coordination with operations team

• 3+ years of experience in civil construction estimating

• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Heavy Bid, Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar)

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
