Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant - Windsor

Position: Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant - Windsor, CO

Rocky Mountain Physical Therapy, in partnership with Integrated Pediatric Therapy Associates, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Windsor, CO. We are looking for someone who embodies our Core Values:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will provide patient-centered treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT, deliver individualized therapy to pediatric patients, and educate caregivers and families on home exercise programs. You will collaborate with Physical Therapists, Clinical Directors, and our multidisciplinary team—including OT, SLP, and music therapy—to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed PT
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients
• Educate and guide patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and skills
• Collaborate with PTs, Clinical Directors, and multidisciplinary team members
• Support Aquatic Therapy programs for pediatric patients
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards
• Promote patient progress, independence, and overall well-being

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Program from an accredited CAPTE institution
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a PTA in Colorado
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team-oriented with a passion for pediatric care
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates encouraged to apply
• Ability to meet physical demand requirements of the position (lifting, carrying, pushing, sustained grip)
