Position

Summary

This position will be part of a high performing shipping team. The operator will work with domestic and export shipments. In addition, the role will be responsible for inventory control and accuracy of our warehouse. Dependability and accuracy are vital traits for this role. Timely and accurate shipments to all customers are essential to ensure we deliver on our commitments. The operator will work with a small, dedicated team that has demonstrated a very high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

The current position is for a day shift that runs Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm MT.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete domestic and international shipments for delivery or pickup according to schedule and priority.
  • Coordinate shipping activities using ERP systems and external shipping systems such as DHL Global, Fed Ex, UPS, GP Express and Hawaiian Express.
  • Coordinate with trucking and shipping companies to ship product to customers in locations such as Xiamen, Stuttgart, Mexico, Australia, CVS and Argentina.
  • Responsible for daily shipping process of domestic orders.
  • Create paperwork for Fed Ex.
  • Handle ground, LTL, DHL Express and manual shipments.
  • Focus on the customer by maintaining quality service and providing exceptional delivery and results.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by complying with departmental and corporate standards, processes, and procedures.
  • Scan shipping paperwork for internal and external audits.
  • Model a professional work environment that values teamwork, inclusion, and professional growth, leading by example.
  • Prepare and complete cycle counting journals ensuring accuracy of bin locations are maintained.
  • Assist in warehouse picking and checking orders when time permits.
Required Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Warehouse information – ability to learn new systems.
  • Familiarity with warehouse practices and methods.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Knowledge in ACE (Automated Commercial Environment).
Desired Technical Experience
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft desktop applications to include Word and Excel.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to learn processes and recommend improvements.
  • Focus on customer support and deliver results with high degree of accuracy.
  • Must operate with a sense of urgency.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, and lift.
