Job SummaryReporting to the Vendor Operations Manager or Supervisor, this position will be responsible for the performance of Service Fulfillment functions as well as the standard day-to-day maintenance of Waste Management & third-party vendor relations.
Responsibilities- Execute 'One Off' Temporary and Permanent delivery requests including cost, availability, price, and approval steps as needed
- Execute 'One Off' Service Change requests including cost, availability, price, and approval steps as needed
- Accurately perform set-up activities in SFDC, Acorn & MAS
- Ensure documentation is managed properly and follow-up with vendors and locations to confirm schedule and actual completion of requests, when necessary
- Perform assigned day-to-day issues / tasks related to the Vendor contracts and works with internal and external partners to resolve basic issues ensuring department SLAs are met.
- Support internal team and external vendors with on-boarding process of all new vendors.
- Responsible for obtaining quotes, negotiating and/or procuring all service costs for all materials assigned and securing proper evidence for bulk procurement projects with both Waste Management Market areas and all Third-Party vendors for open and/or closed market entities.
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, when interacting with WM customers and vendor partners to resolve simple issues effecting service and operations.
- Project based work with detailed instructions and timelines as assigned
This job has no supervisory duties.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Required:
High school diploma or G.E.D. - Preferred:
Associate Degree or above - Required:
1 year of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement) - Preferred: 1+ years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)

- Normal setting for this job is: hybrid setting in Windsor, CT.
The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $22.00-$24.00. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
