Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in CMM programming.
  • Previous work experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
  • Proven experience in quality inspection and assurance in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Background & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPC).
  • Previous experience with Supplier Quality in aerospace machining suppliers.
  • Strong program and project management skills.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Develop and edit CMM programs using PC‑DIMMS and MCOSMOS for machined components.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and technical documentation to define inspection strategies.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate fixturing, tooling, and setups to ensure repeatable and accurate measurements.
  • Review and verify inspection and testing of products for compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Create and maintain quality assurance documentation including control plans, inspection plans, FAI, and PPAP per customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel.
