Our client, a leader in industrial and utility boiler solutions, is seeking a Controls Engineer II to join their team. As a Controls Engineer II, you will be part of the Process and Controls Engineering Department supporting the development and execution of control systems for clean combustion products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What’s the Job?- Identify, develop, evaluate, and manage engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs.
- Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and optimize control systems with desired behaviors.
- Work independently on complex tasks related to control system development and troubleshooting.
- Develop detailed project estimates, schedules, and material lists based on customer requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews, document technical data, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in control systems engineering.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes, Burner Management Systems, and Distributed Control Systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative approach.
