Supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead independent, productive, and happy lives.
Must be HIGHLY flexible with work hours and available for On-call coverage.
The Residential Manager is responsible for the overall running of thehome, including staffing, and associated day programs.
This home has five (5) residents – 4 men and 1 woman who need total care.
The regular work schedule is Sunday – Thursday; however, being highly flexible with work schedule is required.
Duties include:
- Oversight and supervision of staff
- Coordination and provision of medical services
- Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model
- Oversight and direction of all planned services to residents
- Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff
- Participation in required meetings
- Assistance with on-call coverage for the home
- High School diploma (or equivalent) required. BS/BA preferred in a human services field
- 3 years of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.
- Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred.
- Use of a personal vehicle to perform assigned duties is required.
- Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.
- Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
