Join Caring Companions, LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who can work in Simsbury, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our client. With just 20 hours a week, you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying a flexible work schedule in a supportive environment.
Specifically, we are seeking a CNA who has experience with Hoyer Lifts, Bedbound, Wheelchair Bound, Sponge Baths, Incontinence Care and Parkinson's Disease.
Hours for this position will be Sunday-Thursday, 10am-2pm. Simsbury.
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
- Assist clients with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding care plans.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
- Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut.
- Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move clients safely.
- Compassionate demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and care practices.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and health screenings.
