PositionWe have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Shift Assembly Test Technician to join our Windsor, CT team.
Responsibilities- Builds and assembles components utilizing assembly test procedures, reading blueprints, and following written engineering instructions.
- Adheres to proper specifications for subassemblies and assemblies by using inspection equipment (OD and s, height gages, dial calipers, etc.) and reading blueprints.
- Tests units in accordance with the Customer’s Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering written instructions.
- Meets production deadlines by following correct procedures for product completion.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Ensures product quality by testing assembled parts utilizing specifications and quality control procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent. Technical or vocational training desired.
- 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with substantial acquaintance with and understanding of technical aspects of the job.
- Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.
- Work requires the ability to understand and follow instructions, the ability to concentrate and the ability to work as part of a team and get along with others.
- This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to attention to detail.
