DescriptionOur Slitter Operator supports Mativ’s Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions Function. This individual is responsible for setting up and operating slitters used for converting jumbo rolls of adhesive products into smaller rolls. Responsibilities include loading jumbo rolls, adjusting machine components, slitting, rewinding, inspecting web quality, booking completed products, understanding packaging requirements, and guiding the team. The role reports to the Production Supervisor, with a shift schedule from 6 am to 6 pm.
Responsibilities- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a team in manufacturing
- Initiative and responsibility
- Good attendance
- Ability to adapt to change
- Computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
Work in a manufacturing environment with potential hazards and physical demands including lifting, pushing, working long shifts, and performing repetitive tasks. PPE is required.
