Broadridge is growing! We are currently recruiting a Material Handler to join our dynamic Production Operations team in South Windsor.

Work Mode:
This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will work 100% of the time.

Perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in storing and distributing materials, parts and supplies. Ensure the security and transportation of materials from warehouse to production in a timely manner that supports operational efficiency goals and client SLA’s (service level agreements).  Reports to supervisor.
** Responsibilities:
*** Ensure accurate transaction flow throughout material delivery process by locating, pulling, preparing, and delivering and returning materials.
* Safely operates various types of powered industrial equipment.
* Accurately perform inventory and cycle counts and perform various data entry using RF equipment.
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels of materials and supplies on production equipment.
* Ensure appropriate housekeeping, safety and security standards are met
* May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
* Load and unload trucks, perform shipping and receiving functions as necessary and locate and retrieve product from open heights up to approximately 30 feet.

* Qualifications:

*** Less than high school diploma
* 1-year relevant experience
* Previous experience operating powered industrial truck preferred
* Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills
* Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal staff and liaisons
* Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
* Basic Computer skills
* Ability to bend, stoop, stand, lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs. and/or operate equipment for 12-hour shifts.
* Ability to push, pull or move heavy objects
* Ability to work at open heights of up to approximately 30 feet
* Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required)
* Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require working weekends, holidays or overtime.

* Hourly range $17.70- $21.73 USD. Bonus Eligible.
