$18.00/hr - $21.00/hr

The Refrigeration Assembler position is responsible for assembling refrigeration systems on air conditioning units using equipment such as pipe cutters, pipe benders, oxy-propane welding sets, flaring tools, taps, drills, in addition to any other equipment needed to perform the necessary tasks.

• Perform pressure and leak testing on own work.
• Accurately and efficiently interpret drawings and sketches.
• Ensure good housekeeping of individual work area.
• Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
• Other assignments as designated by supervisor.

• Experienced in the assembly of industrial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and the assembly of copper fittings by soldering.
• Proficient ability in using, reading, and interpreting drawings and measuring scale or tape.

• Computer skills: basic computer skills a plus.
• Second shift hours (Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm) 7% shift diff for 2nd.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate and/or license - N/A.
