What Will You Do?- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on a daily basis.
- Review blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications to determine appropriate materials, tools, and procedures needed to complete processes.
- Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
- Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum and stainless steel.
- Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind, or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Standing, stooping, bending. Able to lift up to 25 lbs. Wear PPE which includes welding helmet.
Your Experience Should Be…High school diploma or GED.
- 5 plus years of welding experience.
- Must possess mechanical aptitude.
- Current and valid certification a plus.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
