** Broadridge is growing.  We are currently hiring a Mail Processing Clerk for our South Windsor, CT location.
**** Basic

Purpose:

** Ensure daily operational work flow is met by moving the mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks.  Reports to supervisor.
*
* Job Responsibilities:

*** Sleeves and bundles trays, according to USPS and company standards, places them on pallets and shrink-wraps loads. Drives a pallet jack to move pallets and load into the trucks.
* Ability to follow in-depth work instructions and keep work flowing at the optimal pace to match the conditions.
* Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job.  Completes all required documentation relevant to every job. May research and resolve problems resulting from diverted tray and may perform simple repairs on the ACL (e.g. clear jams).
* Follows all departmental and safety procedures.
* May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience with in a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation
* Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
** Skills/

Competencies:

*** Attention to detail, sound judgment and prioritizing skills
* Ability to adhere to all quality standards
* Ability to take direction and to work with a sense of urgency
* Computer skills a plus
** Requirements:
*** Ability to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shifts
* Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.
* Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime
* Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge’s policies

** EWN)** (6pm to 6am)
Hourly rate: $18.75 hourly – Bonus eligible
