Hartford Hospital is seeking a Preoperative Nurse to join the perioperative team. You will provide nursing care on the day of surgery, perform preanesthesia assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions to the operating room. A Connecticut RN license and BLS are required.
Ideal candidates have BSN preferred, ACLS on hire or within 90 days for internal candidates, and at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in a fast-paced setting.
