Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our clinical team, with the potential to step into a Medical Director role for the right candidate. You'll deliver top-tier veterinary care in a diverse practice setting, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and contribute to our culture of integrity, service, and compassion. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients.
You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager.
Animal General in Avon is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital serving the Farmington Valley and greater Hartford region. We provide compassionate, high-quality care to dogs and cats across all life stages—from preventative medicine and dentistry to soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, and urgent‑care services. - Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration must be obtained and maintained
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
