The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) in Connecticut is seeking Seasonal Resource Assistants to join the Bureau of Air Management, Planning and Standards, Field Monitoring Group in Windsor. These positions support the operation of the state's ambient air quality monitoring network, which provides vital data on air pollutant levels to inform policy at both state and national levels.
Position HighlightsThese roles are part-time, up to 35 hours per week, lasting no longer than one year or a total of 1,040 hours.

Job PurposePerform seasonal tasks and duties as assigned within the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Examples of Duties & Qualifications- Follow instructions effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams).
- Experience in data summarization and report preparation.
- Experience with electronic equipment maintenance is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Some positions may require additional certifications such as First Aid, CPR, lifeguarding, or licensing (e.g., driver’s license, pesticide application). Physical stamina and strength are necessary, and lifeguard roles require water rescue skills.
