Job Title:
Mechanical Installer II
This role is for a Mechanical Installer II, a more technical position requiring candidates with mechanical aptitude. The position involves working with hand and power tools and requires prior installation experience in areas such as machinery or robotics.
Responsibilities- Install 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing.
- Perform tasks on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels, including using power tools and running materials up the elevator utilizing a pallet jack.
- Support project teams by commissioning, cleaning warehouses, and building robotic arms and stations.
- Use pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalog materials.
- Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.
- Follow step-by-step instructions for installations.
- Run wiring for power supply, material handling, and general labor tasks.
- Ability to lift 40‑50lbs consistently.
- Experience working 8‑hour shifts on hard cement floors.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to take direction well.
- Willingness to work in various roles, from inventory management to housekeeping.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with robotics or machinery installation.
- General labor experience in construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.

Work EnvironmentThe work takes place in a distribution center under construction, which can be messy, loud, and crowded. Employees are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, and composite toe shoes or boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable, but avoid loose or baggy clothing.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Windsor, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 – $24.00/hr.
