**** Duties:
Serve as the highest-level technical expert, resolving problems of systems integration, compatibility, performance potentially across multiple platforms; provides feasibility analysis onpotential projects. Build and maintain systems based on applications architectures to improve business processes and in alignment/support of critical business strategies. Assess the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action.

Facilitate continued process improvements within team.

Determine organizational impact of software maintenance issues and develop overall strategy to address them. Integrate activities with business units and collaborate to ensure project costs and schedules are properly estimated and controlled. Understand the client's business goals, technical requirements, and challenges. Design and develop solutions, manage projects, test and ensure quality. Communicate with and support stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted within commuting distance.

Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field, and five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, or a related position.

Experience must include:
Large-scale integrated online RDBMS across multiple hardware and software platforms;
Multiple platforms/technologies including mainframe, OO programming experience, Java and C++;
Programming

Languages:

C# and Python;
Database related Technologies: MS SQL Server 2005/2008/2012/2016, ADO. Net, DDL/DML, Stored Procedures, Cursors, Triggers, User Defined Functions, Queries, Indexes, Views, SSRS, SSIS, or Snowflake;

Server-Side and Client-Side Frameworks including ASP.NET (3.5,4.5), MVC, Web API, REST, SOAP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, or Angular.**#LI-DNP****#LI-DNI

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
