Data Engineer

The Data Engineer position requires 5 years of experience.

• BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• Expert knowledge of SQL query language is required.
• Experience with data extraction and cleansing (ETL), including Salesforce and Big Data sources, is highly desirable.
• Experience with IBM's SPSS is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Linux-based client-server applications.
• Aptitude for research, organization, and structuring complex problems.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Prior experience with metadata management repositories is a plus.
• Experience in the financial services, retirement, or insurance industry is highly desirable.
• Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Create best practices and enforce them to optimize data loading and consumption in the Analytics Data Store.
• Identify data needs for projects, architect, plan, and execute ETL activities using a combination of third-party and open-source technologies.
