Position: Group financial Accountant / SEN School Group / Hybrid
Frontier Consulting are assisting a national Children`s SEN & Residential group to recruit a Group Financial Account. This position is hybrid with travel to their head office in Windsor.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our SEN School Group on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the organisation’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead on the annual audit process, acting as a key contact for external auditors

* Prepare and review statutory accounts, including disclosures and supporting documentation

* Ensure strong financial controls, reporting accuracy, and compliance across the group

* Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules

* Manage Capex reporting and the Fixed Asset Register

* Support month-end close processes, including journals and head office reporting

* Assist with the annual budgeting process

* Contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting (e.g. ONS submissions)

Requirements:

- * ACA or ACCA qualified

* Excellent attention to detail and a strong controls mindset

* Strong organisational and time management skills

* Confident communicator, able to engage non-finance stakeholders

* Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs)

* Experience with Sage 200 (or similar) is desirable

* Experience in a multi-site or social care environment is advantageous
